Our approach

Good work begins
at the edges.

The way one component meets another is part of the project, from the first conversation.

Talk through your project
  1. See the whole exterior

Share your city, photographs and the areas you want changed. Identify existing damage, materials you want to keep and your stage of planning.

  2. Connect the components

Discuss how openings, wall finishes, drainage and outdoor structures meet. Separate essential work from optional additions.

  3. Agree the practical details

Confirm the scope, materials, access and responsibilities before work is scheduled. Raise measurements, approvals and adjoining repairs early.

The place matters

Kitchener. Waterloo.
Cambridge. Guelph.

We serve Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph. Send the property location with your enquiry; it helps place the building, access and proposed work in context. Coverage, site review and scheduling need confirmation for the specific project.

Our service boundary

Exterior work, clearly defined.

Our focus here is exterior materials, building components and outdoor structures. An enquiry about washing an existing surface is different from replacing it; a room renovation has a different scope from a new exterior opening. Describe the outcome you need so the appropriate D&D service can be considered.

Discuss the scope

Questions & answers

A little clarity,
before you begin.

Can windows, siding and capping be planned together?

Yes. Describe each opening and the surrounding wall finishes. State which components you expect to keep and which you want changed so removal, installation and finishing can be discussed together.

What should I include for a roofline enquiry?

Identify whether the concern involves roofing, soffit, fascia, eavestrough or several components. Include photographs of the whole area and explain visible damage or water behaviour without guessing at hidden conditions.

How should I describe a deck, fence or paved area?

Explain its purpose, approximate location and dimensions, existing materials and access. Mention gates, entrances, boundaries or drainage that may affect the work.

Can I request a service even if I am still comparing options?

Yes. Tell us that you are exploring materials or comparing scopes. Include your priorities and open questions so the discussion reflects the stage you are actually at.

Can related exterior work be quoted together?

List the components and adjoining work you want considered together. Ask for a written scope separating included work, allowances, exclusions and optional items. Compare any combined and separate proposals on the same basis; do not assume a discount.

What should I clarify before an exterior assessment?

Agree the areas to be reviewed, access, the purpose of the visit and the observations or estimate you expect to receive. Confirm any charge and timing in advance. A visual visit should not be assumed to include structural diagnosis or concealed conditions.

Who is responsible for permits and inspections?

Identify the work and ask the local authority which approvals apply. Before proceeding, agree who obtains permits, arranges inspections and pays the associated costs. A general service description does not establish that approvals or fees are included.

How should I compare material and workmanship warranties?

Request the actual written product and installation terms, including the provider, covered work, exclusions, claim process and any maintenance requirements. Manufacturer coverage and installation coverage are separate. Do not assume a universal warranty duration from a service description.
